The MX500 is powered by a 500-watt electric motor. The motor is capable of propelling the bike up to speeds of 17 miles per hour. Riders can easily control the amount of acceleration thanks to the twist-grip control.

The bike is also fitted with dual disc brakes so that riders will have no trouble stopping without veering out of control. The rear brake is operated by hand, making the bike easy to stop.

There are a total of three 12-volt sealed lead acid batteries installed in the Razor MX500 electric motocross bike. When completely charged, they will give you enough power to travel up to ten miles. This equates to approximately 40 minutes of riding around on the bike. It takes about eight hours for the batteries to recharge completely.

The Razor MX500 is fitted with pneumatic tires. The one on the front of the bike is bigger with a diameter of 16 inches, while the one in the rear measures 14 inches. The knobby design of the tires enables for efficient transfer of power.
